Lewis et al. (1958) and Koroxenidis et al. (1966) reported on a family in which a black woman and 4 of her 8 children from 2 marriages had pulmonary valvular and/or infundibular stenosis in association with other cardiac and noncardiac malformations. Two of the children had associated congenital deafness. One of the deaf children had the syndrome of idiopathic ventricular hypertrophy with muscular outflow tract obstruction (192600).
