Cantu et al. (1974) described a kindred in which 3 brothers and 3 of their maternal uncles had generalized keratosis follicularis, severe growth retardation, and cerebral atrophy. Hair, eyebrows and eyelashes were almost completely absent. Death had occurred at a young age in 2 of the uncles. Microcephaly was present. Dwarfism was severe, congenital and proportionate.
