Forsius (1978) reported an 8-year-old boy with high-grade hyperopia and indicated that it is usually recessive. Forsius's colleague, Eriksson, has high hyperopia (Eriksson, 1978). Since his mother had the same refractive error, this may represent pseudodominance.
