Hymen, Imperforate

McIlroy and Ward (1930) reported 3 sisters, aged 20, 16 and 14, who had not menstruated; all had imperforate hymen. The 2 older sibs had hematocolpos. Hydrometrocolpos of congenital type (236700) is due to transverse vaginal septum different from the hymen.
