Jammes et al. (1973) described 2 brothers with a new mental retardation syndrome characterized by macrocephaly, hypertelorism, downward slanted palpebral slits, protruding tongue, kyphoscoliosis, and marked difficulty walking. No parental consanguinity was noted.
