Cerebelloparenchymal Disorder V

Ramsey Hunt (1921) described twin brothers with a cerebellar disturbance combined with severe myoclonic jerks brought on by muscular effort. Autopsy in one of them who died at age 36 years showed marked loss of dentate neurons and their fibers in the superior cerebellar peduncles. Hunt described several other cases with affected relatives and without autopsy.
