[26] Symptoms in women [ edit ] Symptoms in women can differ from those in men, and the most common symptom reported by women of all races is shortness of breath. [28] Other symptoms more commonly reported by women than men are extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances, shortness of breath, indigestion, and anxiety. [29] However, some women do experience irregular heartbeat, dizziness, sweating, and nausea.
