The Supreme Court received the petition and sought responses from four states and four ministries of the central government. [28] An advocate for the petition claimed the practice violated children's rights under Article 14 (Right to Equality) and Article 21 (Right to Life) of the Constitution of India , [29] while an advocate opposing the petition argued that khafz is an essential part of the community's religion, and their right to practise the religion is protected under Articles 25 and 26. [2] The Ministry of Women and Child Development reported in December 2017 that "there is no official data or study which supports the existence of FGM in India." [30] Earlier, in May 2017, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi announced that the government will ban FGM if it is not voluntarily stopped. Elizabeth Gould Davis argues that breasts (along with phalluses ) were revered by the women of Catal Huyuk as instruments of motherhood, but it was after what she describes as a patriarchal revolution – when men had appropriated both phallus worship and "the breast fetish" for themselves – that these organs "acquired the erotic significance with which they are now endowed". [25] Some authors from the United States have discussed attraction to female breasts within the context of sexual fetishism , and have stated that it is the American fetish-object of choice, [4] or that breast fetishism is predominantly found in the United States. Overview Atelectasis (at-uh-LEK-tuh-sis) is a complete or partial collapse of the entire lung or area (lobe) of the lung. It occurs when the tiny air sacs (alveoli) within the lung become deflated or possibly filled with alveolar fluid. Atelectasis is one of the most common breathing (respiratory) complications after surgery. It's also a possible complication of other respiratory problems, including cystic fibrosis, lung tumors, chest injuries, fluid in the lung and respiratory weakness. You may develop atelectasis if you breathe in a foreign object. Atelectasis can make breathing difficult, particularly if you already have lung disease.
For example, speech and language services may focus on the production of speech sounds for children with phonological challenges. [26] Overall, early intervention for young children with language or other developmental delays is strongly recommended. [27] [28] For toddlers with language delay who may also be autistic, early intervention services focusing on speech production is strongly recommended.

Anti-depressants may also be required for existing treatments but are avoided in patients who have had a recent history with hypomania. [19] Sertraline has often been debated to have side effects that can trigger hypomania. [20] [21] These include: [22] Aripiprazole Clozapine Haloperidol Olanzapine Quetiapine Risperidone Other anti-manic drugs that are not antipsychotics include: Clonazepam Lorazepam Lithium Valproate Other drugs used to treat symptoms of mania/hypomania but considered less effective include: Gabapentin Lamotrigine Levetiracetam Oxcarbazepine Ritanserin Topiramate Ziprasidone Etymology [ edit ] The Ancient Greek physician Hippocrates called one personality type 'hypomanic' ( Greek : ὑπομαινόμενοι, hypomainómenoi ). [23] [24] In 19th century psychiatry, when mania had a broad meaning of insanity, hypomania was equated by some to concepts of 'partial insanity' or monomania . [25] [26] [27] A more specific usage was advanced by the German neuro-psychiatrist Emanuel Ernst Mendel in 1881, who wrote, "I recommend, taking into consideration the word used by Hippocrates, to name those types of mania that show a less severe phenomenological picture, 'hypomania ' ". [23] [28] Narrower operational definitions of hypomania were developed in the 1960s and 1970s.

Extensive weight loss may be evident. [7] Humans [ edit ] In humans, it can cause arteritis , keratitis , and periorbital cellulitis. [8] This has previously been thought to be a rare disease with only 28 cases reported in the literature up to 1996. [9] However, keratitis due to Pythium may be more common than previously thought, accounting for a proportion of cases that were due to unidentified pathogens. [10] Although this disease was first reported in 1884 [11] the species infecting humans - Pythium insidiosum - was only formally recognised in 1987. [12] Diagnosis can be difficult in part because of a lack of awareness of the disease. [13] It does not appear to be transmissible either animal to animal or animal to human.
